Enterprise Ireland today announced that it invested 32 million euro in Irish start-ups in 2016 and supported a total of 229 companies, the highest number to date in a single year.

Jobs Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor addressed over 400 entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses, and representatives from the investment and financial community at Dublin Castle for Enterprise Ireland’s annual Start-up Showcase 2017.The event is the largest annual gathering of start-ups in Ireland and provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to network with potential investors and other stakeholders to showcase their business offering.
