Euroscience Open Forum - in pictures

Dublin City of Science 2012, a “year of science celebration” consists of over 160 science-related events, crossing art and culture.

The Euroscience Open Forum 2012 (ESOF) is one of the main events in the programme for Dublin City of Science, and runs from 11th-15th July in the Convention Centre Dublin.

The ESOF aims to showcase the latest advances in science and technology. The forum promotes dialogue and stimulates public interest and debate on the role of science and technology in society and public policy.

Minister Richard Bruton spoke at the opening ceremony on Thursday 12th July. The Minister said:

Dublin City of Science is a great opportunity for Ireland to show the global scientific and business community that we truly are a centre of scientific excellence.
