400 new jobs for Cork

VoxproTaoiseach Enda Kenny today announced the creation of 400 additional staff at the Cork based business process outsourcing company Voxpro over the next 12 months.

The Taoiseach said:

"The creation of 400 new jobs by Voxpro is fantastic news for Cork and a boost to the reputation of the South West region as a growing hub for innovative companies. The Government is determined to maintain a positive environment for enterprise to grow and create new jobs so that we can keep the recovery going."

Voxpro is hiring an additional 400 staff, bringing employee numbers there to 1,400 by this time next year. 

The company which was established 20 years ago, has experienced massive growth since it won a contract to provide technical support to Google in 2009. At that stage it had 40 employees, today it has just under 1,000.The company currently has openings for a range of customer service and technical support roles for people with Dutch ,French ,German ,Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
