An Taoiseach Welcomes Pope Francis to Dublin Castle

Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar greeted Pope Francis in the Upper Courtyard of Dublin Castle. The Pope signed the official guest book, and then the Taoiseach and Pope Francis had a short private meeting in the State Drawing Room in the State Apartments. They then join invited guests in St Patrick’s Hall. 

Following introductory remarks by the Taoiseach, Pope Francis gave an address.
