This LEO Wicklow course will give general information on the types of loan finance available to small businesses from lenders such as the SBCI (The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland), MFI (Microfinance Ireland) and the mainstream Banks and Credit Unions. In addition to this, other types of financing will be discussed, such as leasing, invoice discounting, crowd funding etc. Specific information will be given on how loans are assessed, including the type of ratios and ‘what if’ analysis that are generally applied. The cornerstone of any business loan application is the business plan, and time will be
spent explaining how to write a credible and convincing business plan with financial projections.
