The aim of this pilot course is to provide each participant with an idea of what it is like to work in the Hair Department on a film/TV set. The workshop gives a clear understanding of the demands of hair dressing for film and television and will cover the following topics:
Overview of the production process

  • In the studio: Description of each department
  • Script breakdown
  • Continuity in hair styles for film
  • A typical day on set
  • Mood boards with examples of styles / wigs
  • How to get working in this growing industry.
