For Kohinoor Foods, the old adage "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" is particularly apt. When building works caused a slowdown in its Dun Laoghaire restaurant, Hyat Syed began to look at evolving his business and producing restaurant quality convenience food. Having approached his relationship manager in the bank, Hyat found out about SBCI funding. "The whole process was painless, to be honest," he says.
