Ring congratulates Connacht on first Heineken victory
Minister of State for Tourism & Sport Michael Ring has congratulated Connacht for their first ever win in the Heineken Cup. “This is a fantastic day for Connacht. To beat a team like Harlequins, at home, in the Heineken Cup, is a dream come true. “It was an exciting game, and could have gone either way. But Connacht have made history, and have truly arrived in the Heineken Cup. Long may this continue.
