Statement on progress with respect to Gas Regulation Bill
The Minister for Communications Energy & Natural Resources said this evening “I have this evening cleared amendments, which are mainly technical, to the Gas Regulation Bill for approval by Government on Wednesday next in order to facilitate the sale of the energy business of BGE. These, if approved by Government, will be taken in the Seanad on November 13th which will enable us to complete the Bill in Dáil Eireann before the end of November.
