Taoiseach Enda Kenny and European Affairs Minister Dara Murphy, travel to Brussels today for a meeting of the European Council and a Euro Summit.

The focus of this European Council will be on an EU Climate and Energy Framework for 2030. Economic issues will also be discussed, both in the European Council and in a separate lunch meeting, on Friday, of Euro Area Heads of State and Government. The European Council will also discuss external relations topics and in particular the fight against the Ebola outbreak in West-Africa, and the current situation in the Ukraine.
