Today is all about the people that are going to get a new home. The Government is absolutely committed to helping people and families in need of a home. As someone who is working day in day out trying to fix the problems we have in housing it really encourages me when I can help out with occasions like today.

Speaking at the launch, An Cathaoirleach, Cllr Smyth, said,

I am delighted with the progress of the Dun Laoghaire- Rathdown housing programme. The building of new homes remains a major pillar of our housing delivery programme, with 101 houses completed so far this year and a further 50 to be completed in the coming weeks. Like all homes constructed by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, these homes have been built to a high quality, and are in residential areas with access to amenities and services.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council wishes to acknowledge the co-operation of local residents and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their patience whilst this project was being constructed.
