Ministers Ross and Griffin pay tribute to Irish athlete Craig Lynch

The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Mr. Shane Ross, TD, and the Minister with responsibility for Tourism and Sport, Mr. Brendan Griffin, TD, have today paid tribute to Irish athlete Craig Lynch who died following a road traffic incident in County Meath.

 

“We wish to extend our condolences to Craig’s family and friends. Craig was an extremely talented athlete who represented his country with great pride. We were extremely saddened to hear of the tragic death of Craig.  Our sympathies and prayers are with Craig’s family, Shercock AC and the greater athletic community at this very sad time.”
