The Business Pathway Programme is a half-day training delivered by Carlow County Development Partnership, under it Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), in partnership with LEO Carlow.
The Programme aims to equip participants with the tools to present their business case and sell their idea to their potential customers.
Participants will be provided with a set of supports or directions to help develop their business idea and at the end will receive an option to avail of further backing and attend a free Start Your Own Business Programme run by the Local Enterprise Office. These supports are:
- How to explain your business idea (The Pitch)
- How to sell (The Sale)
- How to present to a customer (The First Impression)
- Pathways to the next steps (The Support)
At the end of the course a review will be carried out to ascertain the next steps you need to take in progressing your business i.e. training, research etc. If a follow up meeting is required an appointment will be scheduled within five days of completing the course.
