Inter-Denominational Service of Prayer for new Dáil

AS newly elected members of the Dáil prepare to elect a new Taoiseach today, a special religious service will be held in Dublin this morning to mark the event.

An inter-denominational service will be held in St Ann's Church on Dawson Street to mark the assembly of the 31st Dáil.

 Among those who will be attending the service; President Mary McAleese, the outgoing Taoiseach Brian Cowen, members of the outgoing government, members of the Dáil, Seanad and other state organisations.
