100 new Dublin jobs in Workday expansion - Bruton

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton today announced Workday, the leader in SaaS-based enterprise solutions for global plans to create 100 new jobs in Dublin over the next three years. IDA Ireland worked closely with the company to attract this investment to Ireland.

Making today’s announcement Minister Bruton said:

A key aspect of my plan to get jobs and growth into the economy again will be targeting sectors where Ireland has advantages and the potential to be a world leader. Cloud computing is one such sector. Over the past year we have seen several very significant announcements in this sector and the government is working hard to ensure that the right policies are in place to ensure that we can take full advantage of that potential.

Today’s very welcome announcement, that a world-leading company in this area is creating 100 jobs in Dublin, shows that we are on the right track. I am determined that, with the right policies, we can replicate this announcement across the country over the coming years.
