Minister O’Donovan offers his condolences to family of Gerry Molyneaux

Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan TD, today offered his condolences to the family, friends and the club of Gerry Molyneaux, the chairman of the West Limerick GAA board who sadly passed away last night.

Offering his sympathies the Minister said: "I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gerry Molyneaux, Gerry was a true Gael, and worked tirelessly for the betterment of Limerick GAA, and the West Limerick board. I want to offer my sincere condolences to his wife Bernie, his three daughters Louise, Cora and Caoimhe and his club Rathkeale. Gerry was a great family man who loved his sport and always worked to promote sport. He held many jobs throughout his years with the GAA, from club coach to Chairman of the West Limerick County board and was always generous with his time. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and all involved in the GAA.”
