Usage of ECB facilities by banks in Ireland (covered and non-covered)

Overall the level of borrowing from the ECB by banks in Ireland decreased substantially during the month of June as the Irish banks accelerate their repayment of LTRO funds. Total utilisation of ECB facilities by banks in Ireland decreased by c.€6.8 billion (c.22.6%) to stand at c.€23.25 billion, this is the lowest level since the Bank Guarantee was introduced in September 2008.
