Jobs Minister Richard Bruton today announced that Storm Technology, a leading business technology consultancy that specializes in Microsoft technologies, is to create 21 jobs. The Minister also announced the creation of 30 new jobs at Irish IT company opensky.

The new jobs at Storm technology will include opportunities for

senior technology consultants, experienced CRM Dynamics consultants,

SharePoint and project management consultants along with roles for

graduates and emerging talented software developers. The roles will be based in both Dublin and Galway.

In opensky, the development will provide opportunities for Software Developers, Project Managers, Support, Sales & Marketing and QA Personnel. The recruitment drive is expected to commence immediately.

The Minister welcomed the announcements:

opensky is an exciting Irish technology company which is innovating, exporting and creating jobs, and today’s announcement is very welcome. Irish companies like this with ambitious growth strategies are playing a critical part in getting this country back to work.

Storm Technology is yet another great example of the indigenous engine of economic growth emerging from Ireland’s ICT sector. I am determined to continue and build on the strong supports we have put in place so that we can see more growth from Irish ICT companies like Storm to help get the country back to

work.
