Welcoming the announcement, Jobs Minister Richard Bruton, said:

ICT is a key sector targeted in the Government’s plans for jobs and growth, and we have seen a substantial increase in employment in this area in the past two years. Today’s announcement that Citrix is creating a further 50 jobs in Dublin is very welcome and provides a further indication of what is possible in this sector. I am determined to help sustain and accelerate the progress we have made in this area to help create the jobs we need.
