Appointment of Mr. Oliver Ellingham to the Board of NAMA

The Minister for Finance, Mr. Michael Noonan T.D., has today (5th April 2013) announced the appointment of Mr. Oliver Ellingham to the Board of NAMA, effective from 10 April 2013.

Commenting on the appointment the Minister for Finance, Mr. Michael Noonan T.D., said:

“Mr. Ellingham has significant international experience in finance at both a senior management and board level and his skills and experience will make him an asset to the Board of NAMA”

Oliver Ellingham

Mr. Ellingham, a chartered accountant, is a former Head of Corporate Finance (Europe) at BNP Paribas and senior executive within BNP Paribas UK. Mr. Ellingham also previously held senior management roles within Charterhouse Bank and Robert Fleming.

Mr. Ellingham previously served as a non-executive director with IBRC (Oct 2011 – February 2013), McCarthy & Stone plc (March 2008 – June 2009), Notting Hill Housing Trust (Jan 2009 – Sept 2010) and Cenkos Securities plc (July 2010 – July 2011).

Mr. Ellingham currently holds non-executive directorships in a number of companies including Vislink plc and the Naafi Pension Fund. He is also Chairman and owner of Woking Storage Solutions.
