Ratification of the European Stability Mechanism Treaty
Following today’s Supreme Court decision, where the court ruled that the ESM Treaty is fully compatible with the Constitution, the Government will now proceed to ratify the Treaty tomorrow, by depositing the instruments of ratification with the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU in Brussels.
