Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore is in Washington today, where he met with United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the State Department.

The Tánaiste is Washington as part of his St Patrick's Day visit to the United States. Earlier this week, Mr Gilmore visited New York, where he met with Irish-American business leaders, members of the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform (ILIR), members of the New York Irish LGBT group and members of the New York and Boston Irish Emigrant groups.
