Transport, Tourism and Sport Minister Leo Varadkar today marked St Patrick’s Day in India with a number of business visits. The Minister visited Dell HQ in Noida, where he was given a tour of the facility, accompanied by the Irish Ambassador. He later met with members of the business community before travelling by metro to Delhi International Airport for a tour of Terminal 3, including the Aer Rianta International facility “Delhi Duty Free”.

Speaking today, Minister Varadkar said:

I am delighted to celebrate St. Patricks Day in India this year, not only because of my personal links with the country, but also as it is my first official visit abroad as a Minister representing Ireland.  I have been overwhelmed by the warm welcome I have received and I hope that my visit will strengthen, develop and enhance existing and new business links between Ireland and India that are mutually beneficial.
