Minister Coveney and Kenya Foreign Minister Mohamed formally open Embassy of Ireland to Kenya

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney and Cabinet Secretary Dr. Amina Mohamed, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kenya, today, Wednesday 8th November 2017, jointly opened the Embassy of Ireland to Kenya.
Earlier today Minister Coveney and Cabinet Secretary Dr. Amina Mohamed held a bilateral discussion where they discussed regional peace and security in the Horn of Africa and Great Lakes regions; EU-Africa relations including AU-EU Summit 2017; and opportunities presented by the opening of the Embassy to deepen political, economic and cultural links between our two countries.
