"I share the sense of revulsion of many people this lunchtime at the
reports of the shooting incident which occurred at the playing fields in
Corduff / Blanchardstown in broad daylight this morning. Three young men
sustained injuries in the incident from the discharge of handguns fired by
masked attackers. This type of incident is revolting to all law abiding
citizens. At this early juncture I call on every person who can help the
Gardai in any way with even the smallest scrap of information to make
contact with them via the local Garda Station in Blanchardstown or the free
confidential telephone number 1800666111."
