The Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, Mr. Alan Shatter T.D. Announces the Resumption of Emergency Aeromedical Support Service Operating from Athlone
The Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, Mr. Alan Shatter T.D. today (19th July 2012) confirmed that the Air Corps Emergency Aeromedical Support (EAS) service will re commence operations from Athlone with effect from Friday the 20
th July following the heavy landing incident that occurred on 19th June. The EAS service supports the requirements of the HSE Clinical Care Programmes, such as acute coronary syndrome and stroke.
