EU 2013 - Choosing Ireland's logo
MerrionStreet.ie hosted the poll to select Ireland's EU Presidency logo. The poll was closed on the 31st of December 2011, with over 14,000 votes recorded. The results will be announced in the coming weeks.
Ireland will hold the Presidency of the EU for the first six months of 2013. The public have been asked to choose from four logos, and the logo with the most votes will represent Ireland's EU Presidency in 2013.
Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore and EU Affairs Minister Lucinda Creighton spoke to MerrionStreet.ie about the importance of the Presidency for Ireland, and the logo poll.
