Taoiseach launches online suicide prevention training for GPs

Taoiseach Enda Kenny, together with Health Minister James Reilly, Minister of State for Mental Health Kathleen Lynch and Minister of State for Primary Care Alex White, today launched the Irish College of General Practitioners’ (ICGP) online suicide prevention training programme for GPs and prace staff.

The ICGP partnered with the HSE’s National Office for Suicide Prevention (NOSP) to develop a skills-based training programme for GPs, practice staff and Primary Care Teams.
