Taoiseach promoting Ireland in Davos as a key location for international business and investment

Taoiseach Enda Kenny is at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The Taoiseach is promoting Ireland in Davos as a key location for international business and investment. The WEF Annual Meeting is attended by political and business leaders and heads of international organisations from across the globe.

The Taoiseach will participate in a number of events on the programme dealing with the global economy including a live panel debate to discuss global growth trends and the role that Governments can play in stimulating growth.

A key element of the Taoiseach’s programme in Davos will be an event attended by senior executives of major international companies organised by IDA Ireland to promote Ireland as an excellent business location.

He will also meet individually with leaders of several major multinational firms from a variety of fields, including high-tech, pharmaceuticals and financial services.

The WEF provides an exceptional opportunity to interact with key players in the business world and the Taoiseach will avail of every opportunity possible to promote Ireland as a key location for international business and investment.
