Taoiseach continues engagement with EU Heads of Government: Taoiseach to visit Budapest, Vienna and Berlin today

As part of Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s ongoing engagement with EU Heads of Government in advance of Ireland assuming the EU Presidency, he will today meet with Prime Minister Orban of Hungary in Budapest and Austrian Chancellor Faymann in Vienna.

The Taoiseach’s discussions with PM Orban and Chancellor Faymann will focus on Irish EU Presidency priorities, bilateral issues and broader EU matters. The meetings take place in advance of the special European Council meeting on November 22nd and 23rd.

The Taoiseach will later attend a ceremony in Berlin, hosted by the German Magazine Publishers Association (VDZ), where he will be presented with the European of the Year award.
