Ministers Ross and Griffin congratulate Irish Rugby Team on securing place in Rugby World Cup quarter-final
The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Mr. Shane Ross, TD, and the Minister of State with responsibility for Sport, Mr. Brendan Griffin, TD, congratulate Irish Rugby team on securing their place in the Rugby World Cup quarter-final.
Speaking today both ministers said:
We would like to extend our congratulations to the Irish Rugby team on their victory win over Samoa in Fukuoka today. To secure a place in the World Cup quarter-final is a tumultuous and worthy achievement for Joe Schmidt and his team. We wish them and the rest of the management team the very best of luck in their preparations for the quarter-final game.
