This workshop provides an orientation to the cloud eco system, walking you through a tailored set of cloud computing case studies and helping you to identify any opportunities to use the cloud in your business (called the 'cloud road map'). Each participant will leave the workshop with their own personal business cloud road map.
At the end of the one-day workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify the leading cloud computing applications for SMEs
- define the steps in creating a Freshbooks account
- demonstrate how to send an invoice in Freshbooks
- illustrate the steps in initiating a video call
- demonstrate how to set up a Dropbox account and share a file/folder
- demonstrate how to collaborate a Google document with several other participants
- demonstrate how to create and send a Google form
- demonstrate how to access their Dropbox/Google Drive via a smartphone
Note: Following on from the workshop, an optional one-to-one two hour mentoring session via video call is available to course participants (@ €50 per participant). If interested, participants can register their interest by emailing ita_madden@leo.corkcity.ie who will then forward the booking link for same.
