This InterTradeIreland event will provide SMEs in the Munster region with an overview of the all-island public procurement market and the opportunities available.  Throughout the programme, there are a number of opportunities to meet with public sector buyers from across the island at the 'Buyer Stands'.  Representatives from the key business development agencies across the island can also advise you on current funding opportunities and business supports available.

If you are an SME in the Munster region this event is an opportunity for you to:

  • Meet the sourcing teams from the Irish sourcing model; Office of Public Procurement (OGP), Health (HSE), Local Government and Education.
  • Hear from public sector buyers about their procurement processes, what they want from suppliers and upcoming opportunities
  • Visit one of the eTenders.gov.ie or eTendersNI.gov.uk information sessions
  • Hear and learn from other companies whilst they share their experiences
  • Find out about the latest procurement news and trends - aggregation of contracts, EU Regulations etc.
  • Find out about funding opportunities and supports available from the main development agencies across the island and how they can help your business access all-island public sector opportunities

There are various information sessions held throughout the day showcasing the procurement market process as well as trends, tips and techniques to take away.

You will also have the opportunity to attend one of the eTenders.ie and eTendersNI workshops which are being held throughout the day.  These workshops will provide you with practical help and advice on registering your company on the portals.
