The following are the arrangements for the State Funeral of former Taoiseach, Dr. Garret FitzGerald.

Lying in repose in the Oak Room, Mansion House, Dublin 2 from 11.00 a.m. until 7.00 p.m.

This will be an opportunity for members of the public to file past the coffin and pay their respects to Dr. FitzGerald and to sign a Book of Condolence.

Formal Reception of Dr. FitzGerald’s remains at the Sacred Heart Church, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 at 8.00 p.m.

Following the 8.00 p.m. service and until 10.30 p.m. that evening (when the Sacred Heart Church will close) there will be a further opportunity for members of the public to file past the coffin and to offer their condolences to the family.

Mass of Christian Burial, Sacred Heart Church, Donnybrook.

Mass will commence at 2.30 p.m.

Shanganagh Cemetery

Burial will take place in Shanganagh Cemetry, Old Bray Road, Shankill, Co. Dublin. The funeral cortege is expected to arrive at approximately 4.30 p.m.
