€19,200 sanctioned by Minister of State Kyne for Cumann Bádóireachta Na Ceathrún Rua, Co. Galway
Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs, Seán Kyne T.D., has announced that he has sanctioned a grant of up to €19,200 for Cumann Bádóireachta na Ceathrún Rua to enable them to purchase 5 new boats.
Announcing the grant, the Minister of State said that he was pleased to assist this active club in providing the young people of the Gaeltacht with an opportunity to develop sea-faring skills and achieve qualifications through the medium of Irish.
This funding is being provided under the 20-Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
