Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has published an advert on the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht website seeking expressions of interest in filling a number of vacancies on the Board of Governors and Guardians of the National Gallery of Ireland.
The advert seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons for non-executive positions on Board of Governors and Guardians of the National Gallery of Ireland. The different skill sets required on the Board of Governors and Guardians of the National Gallery of Ireland include:

· Business Experience
· Communications Skills
· Academic/Education Experience
· Governance Experience
· Fundraising or Philanthropic Skills
· Cultural/Artistic Experience
· Public Interest Experience

Minister Deenihan stated:

Interested persons should state their area of expertise, relevant experience and qualifications, and also set out clearly any actual or potential conflicts of interest if they were to be appointed to this Board.
