Indeed.com, today announced expansion plans for its Dublin based EMEA headquarters, adding more than 100 new employees in the next 12 months. The company has already started recruiting for sales, client services, business development, marketing, finance and operations.

Indeed, the world’s most popular job search service, opened its first Dublin office in March 2012 and in the last 18 months has hired over 100 employees. The company plans to double its current workforce to over 200 people in the next 12 months.

Welcoming the announcement, Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore said:

I'm delighted to welcome the further expansion of Indeed in Dublin with 100 new jobs. Ireland is becoming the internet capital of Europe with companies like Indeed offering great opportunities to our passionate, highly-skilled workforce. The Government, through its Action Plan for Jobs, will continue to make the changes to ensure Ireland remains competitive and a natural home for digital companies.

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said:

Today’s announcement that Indeed is expanding its operations in Dublin and more than doubling its workforce is great news and further evidence that the Government's Action Plan for jobs is working.

Over the past 18 months Dublin has proven itself as the ideal location for a high–growth technology company like Indeed. Our Dublin HQ has given us an opportunity to tap into an incredible source of tech-savvy talent, both locally, from the rest of Europe and further afield.

…said David Rudick, vice president, International of Indeed.
