Commenting on today’s NTMA auction of 20 year bonds, Minister for Finance Michael Noonan T.D. said:
“I welcome the successful offer of this 20 year Irish bond by the National Treasury Management Agency. The price of 1.725% on this €4 billion issuance was very satisfactory. The receipt of bids of 10.75 billion is a further endorsement of Ireland’s position and standing in the market.”
