Taoiseach to attend the European Council
The Taoiseach, Mr. Enda Kenny T.D., will travel to Brussels today, Thursday, to participate in a meeting of the European Council (EU Heads of State and Government).
The meeting will consider the latest developments on economic issues and the euro, and take stock of the progress made on a range of economic governance issues agreed in March.
The meeting will also examine migration into the European Union from third countries and other international issues, including the ongoing situation in certain North African countries and the Middle East.
