Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht has
published an advert on the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht
website seeking expressions of interest in future vacancies for Board
members on the Boards of the National Gallery of Ireland, the Abbey Theatre
and the Irish Film Board.
The advert seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and
experienced persons for non-executive positions on the Boards of the
National Gallery of Ireland, the Abbey Theatre and the Irish Film Board.
The advert can be seen on the website of the Department of Arts, Heritage
and the Gaeltacht www.dtcs.gov.ie.
Minister Deenihan said: "this is an exciting opportunity for suitable and
experienced people to help shape the future of these wonderful
institutions. We are seeking to widen the pool of suitable candidates for
consideration for appointment to these bodies. "
Interested persons should state the Board('s) they wish to be considered
for appointment to, their area of expertise, relevant experience and
qualifications, and also set out clearly any actual or potential conflicts
of interest if they were to be appointed to a Board.

The Minister may appoint persons from outside the expressions of interest
received in response to this advertisement.
