Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, Mr Alan Shatter, T.D. confirms resumption of Emergency Aeromedical Service (EAS)
The Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, Mr. Alan Shatter T.D. today (3
rd July 2012) confirmed the resumption by the Air Corps of the Emergency Aeromedical Support (EAS) service following the heavy landing incident that occurred on 19th June. The service will, for the present, operate out of Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel . The EAS service supports the requirements of the HSE Clinical Care Programmes, such as acute coronary syndrome and stroke.
