Statement by the Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence, Mr Alan Shatter, T.D. on the Death of Private Patrick Conlon, R.I.P.
The Minister for Justice, Equality & Defence, Mr. Alan Shatter TD, today expressed his sympathy on the death of Private Patrick Conlon, R.I.P., whose death was announced earlier today. Minister Shatter said "I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Patrick Conlon at this sad time. In particular I would like to extend my condolences to his Mother and Father Heather and Christopher, his partner Louise and his brothers Michael and Daragh on their sudden loss. I would also like to extend my sympathies to Private Conlon’s colleagues in the 28th Infantry Battalion based in Donegal and his many friends throughout the Defence Forces”.
