Fitzgerald opens IHRC Human Rights Poster Exhibition of CSPE Students' work

Children & Youth Affairs Minister Frances Fitzgerald today  officially opened the Irish Human Rights Commission’s (IHRC) Express Yourself! Young People Promoting Human Rights in Ireland Exhibition at the Light House Cinema, Smithfield, Dublin.

The Express Yourself! Exhibition runs for one week (27 February to 6 March 2013).

On the invitation of the IHRC, Civic, Social and Political Education (CSPE) students from across the country have produced wonderful posters and messages about the human rights issues in Ireland that concern them. The range of issues covered includes bullying, discrimination against the Traveller community, racism, homelessness, joining a trade union, child poverty, being safe in your community, ageism, and the right for a young person to have a voice.
