HSE launches Counselling in Primary Care Service

Minister of State, with responsibility for Disability, Older People, Equality & Mental Health, Kathleen Lynch and Minister of State for Primary Care Alex White today launched the HSE’s Counselling in Primary Care service. CIPC offers clients in distress 6-8 sessions of counselling, delivered by qualified counsellor therapists, and designed to support them through a difficult period. The new service will be available nationwide and has the potential to see up to 13,000 medical card holders in a full year.
