McEntee at Food Safety Professional Associations Awards

Shane McEntee, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine today addressed the inaugural Food Safety Professional Associations Awards presentation ceremony in Dublin. The Minister pointed out that Agriculture and the Agri Food sector is the largest indigenous industry in Ireland and that the importance of the sector has been well highlighted this week.

The winners of the Food Safety Awards were-

  • The Farmgate Restaurant,Midleton,Co.Cork

  • Waterford Institute of Technology

  • St Patrick’s University Hospital, Dublin

  • Sodexo at Novartis, Cork
