Minister Deenihan last night attended a Business to Arts event to publicise a range of programmes aiming to transform the cultural sector in Ireland.  At the event, hosted by Mason Hayes+Curran, several projects were highlighted.

This included the Fund It project (www.fundit.ie) created with support from the Cultural Technology Grant Scheme.  This is Ireland’s first ‘crowdfunded’ platform – a secure website providing project creators with the means of attracting funding for their ideas by offering unique rewards to supporters.
