Taoiseach Enda Kenny has launched Gorta's Soup for Life campaign, which begins today, at Government Buildings. The campaign runs from the 1

to the 8

March and sees a whole host of restaurants, cafes and bars across the country taking part and giving €1 per bowl of soup sold. The campaign is also being supported by soup giants Erin Soups, who will donate 5 cents per carton of soup sold from their new fresh soups range.

Gorta is aiming to get the people of Ireland sipping 35,000 bowls of soup during the campaign.
