Taoiseach Enda Kenny speaking at the launch
Speaking at the launch, the Taoiseach said:
On 23 May 2015, the citizens of Ireland made history by becoming the first nation in the world to introduce marriage equality by popular vote. Almost one year on, it is a proud moment for our country to recall and a great pleasure to be here to launch this timely publication which is a testament and record of that special day in May.
We know there is more work to be done to ensure that LGBT people are fully included across all aspects of Irish society, but the wonderful result last May shows that Irish people strongly support this journey.
