Taoiseach to meet with the President of the European Commission
The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny T.D., will travel to Brussels today (Thursday 13th October 2011) for a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Mr. José Manuel Barroso, ahead of the meeting of the European Council and of the Heads of State or Government of the Euro area meeting on 23 October.
Discussions will focus on what needs to be done to address the economic crisis in a comprehensive, balanced and credible way, including identifying means to generate jobs and growth.
