The Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Damien English, T.D, and the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment, Richard Bruton, T.D. today (19th May) announced the seven offshore renewable energy projects that have been designated as Relevant Projects.

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed T.D., today announced details of a €3.1m package to assist 10 coastal Local Authorities undertake and complete 58 development and repair projects on harbours and slipways owned by them (see table below for details).

Mr Michael Ring TD, Minister for Rural and Community Development, has confirmed again today (Monday, 18 May) that funding which he allocated to support the running of Agricultural Shows throughout the country this year can be used in 2021 where shows have to be cancelled due to the impact of the COVID-19 virus.
